The End of a Month

planned as P for once was on time, and so little miss Irony hit in and my friend got held up, still it gave P an excuse to sit for thirty minutes complaining and moaning that ‘if I were this late you would go mad and wouldn’t wait’ ‘oh so its okay for other people to be late but I cant’ you get the overall impression I am sure. But my friend did get there and P (as usual) was all sweetness and light, he is such a kind fellow, saves all the moaning for me and then seems like an angel to all around! Due tot he time we decided that a movie probably wasn’t the best course of action so instead (Frisbee, you know where this is going don’t you, fast forward time) we went to China Town and sat to eat dinner, well sunner really as was between dinner and supper time. But as ever was nice to sit and talk, even if the two of them ganged up on innocent little me and victimised me.
friendly so feel free to strike up a conversation’. We such an occasions (this really is going somewhere, if rather slowly) happened last week and this guy told me that there was this pub in Wapping where they allowed dogs and the food was really good, for people not dogs, though I am sure they wouldn’t say no either. So on Saturday (see told you it was going somewhere and finally we are there) P was off so we decided to try this place, and we got there at four fifteen, guess what, they don’t do food between for and five! Isn’t that just a kick in the delicate parts. Still we enjoyed sitting in the garden and having a drink…….
round from his work was rather nice, the food was good just not a great selection really. We decided to head for Canary Wharf. For ages I have wanted camera so I could have anew hobby and P finally agreed and so we went to Jessop’s (owww advertising to I get royalties?) and got a Nikon D90, and fabulous it is. It is really funky and amazing. I bet it takes such fantastic pictures, well once I figure out how to use it properly it will.Terribly Short

job Errol has been amazing, even Tweeting asking for me. Tracy was her usual sexy vixen self, and Kim was there which was an added boon. Had my hair cut whilst was there and kept it short, though Errol has kept my fringe longer than last time, something about texturing and layering. but as ever it looks very nice and even better it goes into style easily in the morning.
Sunday P and I relaxed and spent the day with Milo. It was really nice to just relax, sit about and go to the park and play with Milo. He of course loved all the attention and thought all his birthdays (well there have only been two) had come at once. Mummy and daddy both at his beck and call all day, and he made the most of it. Didn’t sit still for more than five minutes. And in the evening P cooked an amazing dinner to round off a nice day.
very nice time catching up though and our other friend is pregnant (she is a woman) so couldn’t stay long, nor would she drink the brandy I bought her (me being me didn’t consider she wouldn’t be able to) but nor would Mr Bee drink his so I had to drink all three, ergo its his fault I got so drunk. We then headed round to China town to embarrass P (I called it going to see him) as he was out with two of his colleagues. Not being the most patient of souls we decided we didn’t want to queue to eat so Mr Bee and I staggered, oh I mean walked, next door to the other restaurant that P and I often go to. After that we went to Friendly Society for more drink, see not my fault that I got drunk at all but Mr Bee and P’s fault.Day Out & Too Many Drinks

and bath. So on the bus we got and headed to the groomers, he all happy and bouncy me half asleep. The happy and bouncy soon disappeared when he saw where we were going and he sat on the pavement out side the groomers and refused to move. I had to pick him up and carry him in, in case I was in any doubt that he wasn’t ecstatic at the prospect of his bath he decided to try and climb over my shoulder using his claws as leverage. After we got him in and he began his ritual of moaning and crying his way through the bath and hair cut, relentlessly whether anyone was paying attention to it or not. I really am rather surprised that he still isn’t use to having his hair cut, I think P must spoil him a little to much, it cant possibly be me. But the groomer did an excellent job and he looks lovely once again, Milo that is not the groomer.
and up the steepest hill in the world to get to the park. But when we got there it was rather lovely as the park is really nice. Milo had a ball, I think it was a tennis ball, (do you get it, that was rather (how many times am I going to use the word in this entry?) funny). He loved it there, we went exploring and he got scared of the deer, not surprising really as he is scared of most things, having ran from a spider the evening before. Then he had a great surprise as Buzzy came to meet us, and lovely she looked to. But she came and brought the rain with her, so we had to head back, but learning from our lessons we got the bus on the way back and managed to keep relatively dry. But brief though it was I enjoyed seeing young Maiden Buzzy and she of course loved seeing me, oh and Milo!
been and it would (we had thought) get Milo out for the day. It goes without saying (then why do I need to say it?) that our best friend came along. When we got there we looked around the shops for a bit first then headed for the beach, or what we thought was the beach, it turns out that dogs are not allowed on the beach so that ended our imaginings of playing and wearing him out on the beach, Milo too. We had a long walk up the promenade though which was very enjoyable and the walked back via some public gardens, at least I hope they are public ones. Milo made the most of it and ran round in circles as usual, he is demented I am sure of it. We then decided that we needed to eat some food so P as usual wanted KFC, he is addicted to it, some people inject drugs but P injects
coated fried chicken. Dave and I went and got some fish and chips with mushy peas. It was a disaster, the peas were cold, who the hell sells cold mushy peas, WTF The chips were greasy so I wouldn’t eat them and the fish was too thin and not that nice. How can you go to the seaside and not have decent fish and chips, how forlorn I was after that disappointing escapade. Still we live and learn and now decided next time we will go somewhere more aimed at tourists and with a lesser quota of chavs as Southend really does seem to have more than its fair share.
Croatia. In fact I hadn’t seen him since February. Me being ever the idiot was chatting away and whenever we chatted about his boyfriend he looked at me kind of weird. It turns out that he has a different boyfriend (the hussy) than he had when we last met so I was referring to the last one. I really should try and keep up with peoples lives and pay more attention when they talk, rather than half listening as am too engrossed Tweeting. We were supposed to meet for an hour but ended up leave quite a bit later, and a tad more drunk than anticipated. Still it was a jolly good evening. So good in fact that the next evening it took little persuasion from a work colleague to forego our planned session at the gym and instead go to Quinty for ‘one glass of wine’. When we got
there a friend of mine was there and he forced cocktail upon me, I of course being a polite person didn’t have the heart to tell him no I couldn’t possibly drink more alcohol. So my colleague and I ended up having to endure the cocktails and two bottles of wine, a real hardship it was as well. So yet again I arrived home later then I had said and in a inebriated state, I thank heaven that I am blessed with an understanding and amazing husband in P, anyone else would have (some would say understandably) either kicked me out, or sulked and moaned for months on end.Buzzy’s Lucky Week

diet has worked as he is back to perfect weight. But its been hard work, he is use to having little treats quite a lot and bits of food we save for him, so as all this has been cut down as part of his diet he has let us know he is not altogether happy with the situation by coming over and sitting looking sad, climbing on your lap at meal times and staring at you and your food, wandering past the table and sniffing and generally making a nuisance when there is food around. He is also in perfect health so we are happy. He is having hair cut this weekend but not told him as he hates the shower before, will have to keep him away from PC until then as well so he doesn’t read this!!!!!!
good luck and means you have a prosperous and very gifted life. Because she got to see us again on Friday. We had agreed to go to dinner at Quinty with not just her, not just her and Buzzy Senior (my stalker) but also Buzzy’s sister, so it was a Buzzy family meeting, like a swarm of bees it was. When we got there I had pre-booked (ever efficient and organised, how selfless I am) they put us ion a table that I felt was a little too small for give people. So I told the waitress, who told the manager who came and explained that they were fully booked so there were no other tables to
move us to. Me not being deterred (or a moaning old git) politely (well by my usual rude standards) said that it was cramped and I had booked months ago so don’t see why we are at a table so small, he responded that its a table they use for five people, I replied was it five of snow whites friends! So we got moved to a lovely table and had a jolly good evening. I thoroughly enjoyed it (I have to say that as my stalker reads this and I don’t want to add hate mailing to her list of hobbies).More Food and Racing

has been up to, the bar we met in was rather nice, though he being a northerner couldn’t believe the prices, you can take the northerner out of the north and all that. We then decided to get something to eat and saw this Italian place that looked rather nice, unfortunately looking nice was where the pleasure ended as the food was not at all nice and we both ended up leaving half our meals, but at least I now know not to go there again so its a lesson learned. I managed to not get drunk as well which obviously means that I am going in the right direction on my ‘not making a twat of myself’ campaign.
idiots that they are had planned (like anything is well planned with TfL) engineering works so that part of the Northern (why is it called Northern line when its in South London?) so I had to get off sat Stockwell and get a bus. Have you ever been to Stockwell? I have never seen so may Lidl carrier bags and flammable clothing in my life, but at least now I know where the assistants from Argos and McDonalds live. Then when I eventually managed the trek to Clapham Common (how apt) it started to rain, me being ever conscious of how I look had not packed a jacket so had to buy a hooded top, well at least it meant I blended in with the locals. There were two races on Saturday so it was quite a long day, by the time it had finished I got on the bus and when I got home I almost collapsed ion bed, exhausted I was.Parents & Eating

and headed to the O2 as Dave had decided he wanted to go to Gaucho for dinner. A jolly good choice it was as well, I have to say. The wine was rather nice, though I made a mess of the order, I originally didn’t look at the menu and ordered a bottle, it turned out to be rather too expensive so when the waiter came back P bravely (next to my wimp like self) said he had changed his mind and chose a different one. The food as always, was really nice and I had a lovely evening with people its great to be with, very nice end to the day it was.
weight???) at the Portrait Gallery. He was like 20 minutes late, terrible and tardy. But when we eventually sat down the view is breath taking its lovely (I must take P there as he would love it) and the service is great. They had a nice set menu and the food was really nice. I really would recommend the place, its delightful.Buzzy at Qunity, Race for Life & Boomination!!!

Buzzy. She had kindly done some research on a project for me so we had meant to go and go through that, and we did go through it but we kept digressing, okay I admit it she kept digressing. We did have rather a good timer though, drank a little wine, she drank like a fish the alcoholic woman, well she is Scottish and there were no buckets of whiskey on hand. I was disgusted at one point as she sat there and passed wind, fortunately it passed quite quickly but I didn’t dare light a match for a while. She clearly need a very hard and long shag. That or a peanut flavour fish cake to clear her system out.
for ages, so I never actually believed he would ever come. The main reason for this is because we have to get up at 05:30 in order to be there for 06:30, early mornings are not his best time! We cycled there and I was amazed that we were only 15 minutes late. There were over 12,000 woman on the run for this one so it was massive. I had never seen
p work so hard, he really did make me proud as was working and not once complained, even though it was hot and he was having to move heavy crates etc around. We were then asked to be court marshals which he did, though whenever a cyclist needed to be asked to dismount he would get me to do it!!!! There is another one later in the year so lets see if he goes to that one as well. We finished in the early afternoon so were pretty exhausted by then as it really is hard work, but its hard work that is worth it as you feel like you are doing some good.
and grumpy at times that you would think it was his 80th. He decided he wanted to go to Jamie Oliver’s Italian restaurant in canary Wharf, at 19:00. So I had to rush to get there from work, which isn’t easy on the bloody underground, oh how I hate the Tube, it is crowded, stuffy and too hot, you get off and its like you have been in a sauna, not at all comfortable. So anyway I did get there and it was a jolly nice evening, the food there is quite good and of course the company was excellent, as was the wine Nothing to Declare

know as have been to Ann Summers with her, the kinky minx. Oh yes so we met at Harvey Nics and proceeded down the avenue to Motcomb Street, which was jam packed so we went straight into the salon, and bloody good choice it was too, as the stage was directly opposite, and there was an abundance of alcohol in the salon, lots of peanuts too which I tried to force feed to Buzzy so I could video her having a fit, wanted to You Tube it and get lots of hits. Little P then came along and joined us, almost didn’t get in as he was walking through the crowds towards the door when Errol said ‘who is that trying to get in’ He really should remember who people are. Buzzy decided to be dead boring and left early, leaving more nuts for me. So P & I chatted to people and had a really good time there.Movies and Drinking/Eating

Good day to you all, how are we doing this week?
Last Wednesday was very pleasant, well the after work bit, the at work bit was its usual tedious self. I met P at West India Quay (part of Canary Wharf for those that do not know where it is, but would like to) as we were going to go to the movies. We however were early so (and here is where Chuckles fast forwards) surprise, surprise we went to get something to eat. We went to a place called Noodle Street which is really nice, they do quite simple dishes but it taste good. They also have this amazing fruit juice, apple, mint and lime, its really tasty and refreshing. We then headed to the movies, we were seeing Get Him to the Greek, which I was not sure about, being of the opinion that Russell Brand was funny but it’s a bit worn now. I was very surprised as it is a really funny movie and very entertaining, though it has to be said that P Diddy (is that what he is calling himself these days?) completely stole the show and was the highlight. I would definitely say go see it if you fancy a laugh.
Last Friday I went for a quick drink at Quintessentially Soho, which I have taken to calling
Qunity, no reason other than its easier to type and say, with my friend who works there, was quite fun as I like it there and they do the best chips ever, even P agrees that the chips are fantastic. I the headed East (doesn’t that sound so much more exotic than it actually is!) as was meeting P to go to movies again (last week I was desperately trying to catch up on movies, does it show?). We went to see Wild Target, which was rather amusing if a little, okay a lot, predictable, entertaining though and worth a look at.
Saturday morning saw me up and getting Milo ready as it was his day for the groomers as he
needed his shower and hair cut, and his nails certainly needed cutting, my arms can testify to that. When we got there he was his usual self, refused to go in the salon, so I had to pick him up and carry him in, as he
demonstrated that yes indeed his claws did need trimming. The groomer is excellent and did an amazing job he is also good with Milo as he was actually not leaping out of the shower as if acid was pouring on him, he just stood there, albeit shivering and whimpering as if he were taking a beating. He then did his usual of crying for the whole hour his hair was being cut, he really does make a meal out of it and any situation a drama, cant think where he gets that trait from!
P was working last Saturday so I decided to go see a movie, it’s a task for P to go as doesn’t like them as much as I do. So I went and saw the new Shrek movie in 3D. The 3D and effects are really good and nice to watch, but the movie was pretty boring, its run its course now I think and so it just isn’t anywhere near as good as the previous ones. It wasn’t funny, was predictable and you just sit there, well I did, waiting for something to happen, alas nothing does.
After the movie I had a text from a good friend asking if that Little P and I wanted to meet, at West India Quay, for a drink, which was quite handy as that’s where the cinema is. So off I went on the trek, across the road. It’s a couple that we were meeting, one of whom I had not seen for a very long time, it was rather good to catch up. We all had a good time, well I hope we all did, I did.
Sunday P and I decided that we were going to for a bike ride as it was so hot. When its hot Milo will not go out as he gets too hot with his fur coat on so just wants to sit on the bed with the fan, which he has assumed belongs to him and is there for his sole use. So we went to our best friends place as that is where p keeps his bike, don’t ask! I cycled there and P went on the DLR as we were leaving Milo with our best friend. I had to first inflate the tyres on his bike, he uses it so little that they were flat!!! We eventually headed off to Hyde Park, P likes it there. When we got there it was nice as we just chilled (I fell asleep at one point) we ate fruit salad that P had brought and nice bits, sunbathed and just watched the world go by. Isn’t it awful that we rarely get to just sit and relax. Its one of the main reasons that I hate London so much, its all so rushed and hurried. We cycled back as well, with P moaning about how hard it was and the saddle was hurting him. But in fairness he hadn’t cycled for a while so it cant have been easy. We have said we will cycle more often, which I hope we stick to.
In the evening we had to get everything from out of our bedroom and into the living room as we were having new wardrobes installed on the Monday. What a job that was, its incredible how much junk you build up isn’t it, we ended up throwing about 4 bin bags of things away. Milo was pacing back and forth (following the fan!!!) as every time we get the suitcase from off the wardrobe we are going away so he got it into his head that we were off on holiday (if only) and leaving him with our friend. So he was getting all anxious.
Monday was quite eventful. I had tickets to go and see the Phil Collins television show. I was going with Emma, Buzzy and the friend I hadn’t talked to for a while. The show was quite a
disappointment as he didn’t do any of his hits, apart from two, didn’t sing In the Air (which was the one I wanted to hear) and his suit was too baggy and looked crumpled and worn. We also had to stand which didn’t help. On the plus side it was good to se Emma, even though she was hung-over. Great to see Buzzy, who used her bra as a handbag, talk about making a tit of yourself, thank the lord I didn’t need to use her BB!!!! She was her usual buzzing self which is always good, and looked lovely in a purple number (I swear it made her boobies look bigger).
Then when I got home, as if by magic, all the wardrobes, chest of drawers (so it was a night of chests) and bedside cabinet were up, its lovely to have wardrobes at last and have my suits, shirts and our clothes in proper places rather than hanging on racks. P had been an angel (yes I know as usual) and done most of the work before I got there, and as ever had done a brilliant job. Though I do wish that we had more time to spend together, because of our jobs and the fact we are busy, we rarely get to spend any real quality time together and it I so nice when I just get to relax and chill with him, he really is an exceptional person, the best guy I have ever known and lets be honest he deserves a medal, or five, for putting up with me, yet he never stops caring or thinking of how to make us happy. So my only wish would be to spend more time doing things together.
Boom was amazing this week, it was also Chuckles birthday, so that made it extra special, a extra special Boom for a extra special persons extra special birthday. Even if he doesn’t mention me enough on the show!!!!!
Until next week adios.
